Lexy Martone, Associate AIA, is an Architectural Designer at HPZS. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati DAAP Program where she obtained her Bachelor of Architecture in 2017.

In 2016, Lexy resided and studied in Stuttgart, Germany at Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart, furthering her knowledge of functionality, design principles, and planning for interior architecture. She formerly worked with firms that specialize in educational, institutional, cultural, and commercial facilities. The last three years, Lexy won awards for her outstanding designs and group participation in Canstruction Chicago, an A/E/C design and build event that benefits the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Her time as a volunteer for Refortify, a 5-week program that teaches children architectural concepts and implementation using donated materials, taught her the importance of user experience and connecting with community.

Her architectural passion is embedded in the notion of inclusivity and ecological sustainability, understanding that every client is a unique opportunity. When she isn’t focusing on human-centered design, Lexy enjoys her improv performances, playing on two soccer leagues and tending to her abundant plant collection.
